Growing Executives into Coaches

Imagine the impact you could make as an accredited executive coach, qualified from the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC), the most highly accredited coach training organization in the world. As a coach at that level; not only do you learn about people and organizations, but also about yourself. You develop leaders and leave a legacy. Now take that impact and multiply it by a thousand people. That is the number of people that Career Connections has trained in the last six years in their partnership with the AoEC, at Certificate and Diploma levels in East Africa. The impact is a culture shift in Career Connections’ clients: moving leaders from telling people what to do, towards a culture of helping others find their own solutions and make their own decisions.
The AoEC programmes were the first in East Africa that carried the International Coach Federation (ICF) Accreditation; in addition the Diploma provides accreditations from the Association for Coaching (AC) and European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). The Diploma is a four-month journey of self-discovery for leaders about their leadership styles that combines modular learning, e-learning, leadership assessments and tutorials. This highly experiential approach enables the graduates to answer fundamental questions about their leadership and coaching styles. The AoEC Diploma is the only qualification that exposes leaders to different ways of coaching, and expects each participant to develop, present and demonstrate their own signature coaching model at the end of the course.
